Two previous bidders for Tottenham are joining forces in a fresh attempt to buy Daniel Levy’s stake in the club.
Former chairman Levy owns a 29.9 per cent share in Spurs.
The Sun reports that billionaire businessman Ng Wing-Fai and American investor Brooklyn Earick are working together on a bid for Levy’s holding.
Wing-Fai’s Hong Kong-based group and Earick’s consortium both tried to buy the Lewis family out of the club last year.
Levy is believed to be demanding £1bn to part with his shares, a valuation that would put Tottenham at around £3.3bn.
Sources close to the Lewis family are said to be questioning why any buyer would pursue Levy’s stake when there is no intention from the majority owners to sell the club themselves.
