Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has turned down interest from Manchester United.

With his current contract set to expire at the end of the season, Enrique recently held talks with United representatives in Paris over a potential move to Old Trafford this summer, according to the Daily Star.

However, the Spanish coach has opted against a switch to the Premier League and is now prepared to sign a new contract with PSG.

It is understood Enrique was unconvinced by United’s proposal, feeling the club’s long-term project is not yet developed enough to tempt him.

Sources also suggest Enrique has made it clear that the only club he would consider leaving PSG for is Barcelona, where he enjoyed major success by winning LaLiga titles both on the pitch and in the dugout.
