Inter Milan’s chase for Trevoh Chalobah and their monitoring of Maxence Lacroix has forced the Italian champions to meticulously handle their summer transfer plans.

The Nerazzurri have momentarily halted their approach for the Chelsea center-back to focus on alternate objectives, while Crystal Palace are anticipated to entertain offers for Lacroix only once Chalobah’s situation is sorted.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter and Como have reached a pact to avoid challenging each other over mutual transfer targets in order to dodge expensive bidding battles.

This mutual agreement emerged following talks between Inter chief Beppe Marotta and Como delegate Mirwan Suwarso earlier in the week.

Chalobah is at the heart of this arrangement following Como’s unsuccessful €25 million proposal, which Chelsea recently turned down.

Since then, Como have requested that Inter make their plans clear, emphasizing that they have no desire to participate in a bidding war for the English center-half.
