Chelsea have reportedly reignited their interest in FC Porto striker Samuel Aghehowa ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old came close to joining the Premier League side from former club Atletico Madrid back in 2024.

Aghehowa then moved to Porto, where he has become one of the best strikers in Portugal, scoring 47 goals in his 76 games across all competitions.

According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea have reignited their interest in the Spain international ahead of the summer transfer window.

It’s understood that Liam Rosenior is pushing the club to sign a new number nine following a string of disappointing performances from Liam Delap.

Premier League rivals Tottenham and Newcastle are also long-term admirers of Aghehowa.
