Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge, insisting he pays little attention to transfer rumours.

The England international was speaking after starring in Chelsea’s 3–1 Premier League win over Wolves at Molineux on Saturday, where he struck a first-half hat-trick.

Palmer opened the scoring in the 13th minute from the penalty spot before converting a second spot-kick in the 35th minute. Just three minutes later, he completed his treble, celebrating with his trademark “Cold” pose before cupping his ears.

Asked about reports suggesting he could leave Chelsea this summer — with Manchester United among the clubs mentioned — Palmer was dismissive.

“Everyone loves to chat rubbish, don’t they?” Palmer said, as quoted by Goal.
“I don’t pay a lot of attention to it. You see things, but I feel like I’ve already come from a strong position, so I don’t focus on that.”

Speculation surfaced last month claiming Palmer could return to Manchester at the end of the season, with United touted as a possible destination.

Palmer came through Manchester City’s academy and made 41 senior appearances for the club, scoring six goals and registering two assists before joining Chelsea in 2023.

Since arriving in west London, the 21-year-old has been a standout performer, scoring 51 goals and providing 31 assists in 114 appearances, underlining his growing importance to Chelsea’s project.
