Manchester United are reportedly refusing to reopen negotiations over their buy-option clause with Barcelona for winger Marcus Rashford.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a productive spell in Catalonia, registering ten goals and ten assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
Barcelona hold a reported £26 million option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign — a clause inserted when Rashford completed his move.
According to Diario Sport, Hansi Flick’s side are attempting to lower that figure amid ongoing financial constraints.
United, however, have no intention of trimming the agreed valuation and are prepared to insist on the full fee should Barcelona opt to secure Rashford’s services permanently.
