The Indiana Fever welcomed Cardi B to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday as part of her Little Miss Drama Tour. The Fever gifted the rapper with a stunning, custom bedazzled jacket, but some fans were not happy with the gesture. They expressed their frustration on social media.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Fever shared a couple of photos featuring the custom jacket they gave to Cardi. The first one features the Grammy Award-winning artist holding the jacket, while the second one shows the front of it.

“Had to welcome Cardi B to @GainbridgeFH this past weekend with a custom jacket ✨,” the Fever tweeted.

While some fans were receptive of Cardi B repping the Indiana Fever, others were not fans of the endorsement. They brought up the rapper’s past legal issues, as well as some of her NSFW songs that are not meant to be heard by kids.

Here are some of the comments on X.

The Indiana Fever are not the first WNBA franchise to welcome Cardi B as part of her Little Miss Drama Tour. The Golden State Valkyries did the same thing last month when she performed at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. It even fueled rumors of the possibility of the Valkyries recruiting A’ja Wilson.

The rapper once included Wilson in one of her songs, so some Valkyries fans thought the franchise was making a pitch to Wilson. The four-time WNBA MVP is set to become a free agent, so the Valkyries do have a chance.

Cardi B sends message to Indianapolis crowd after bomb threat canceled 2019 show

Before this year’s show in Indianapolis, Cardi B was supposed to perform at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in 2019. However, a bomb threat canceled the show, and it took the rapper six years to return to the Hoosier State’s capital.

Speaking during her concert on March 14, she opened up about the bomb threat and shared her feelings about the rumors surrounding it.

“I was supposed to perform in this city (in 2019),” Cardi said, according to Billboard. “They sent a terroristic threat. They said they was gonna bomb my show. I was like, ‘Hold on, motherf*ckers. They want to bomb me?’ B*tch, I was scared and everybody online was cursing me out.’

The rapper added:

“They were saying that I was lying and sh*t, but I would never do that to y’all. I would never cancel on y’all. But safety first, motherf*ckers! Let’s keep the party going.”

Cardi’s tour will continue until April 18 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
