Right now, millions of players are eagerly waiting for GTA 6 trailer 3. The last time Rockstar Games dropped content for the next Grand Theft Auto title was in May. The company released 70 screenshots, a new trailer, several new artworks, and a brand new website. Since then, however, it has not released anything related to the game.
Recently, many reputed GTA insiders and popular content creators have speculated that Rockstar Games could drop the GTA 6 trailer 3 in April. However, an argument can be made that the next trailer might not drop next month. Here’s why.

Rockstar Games has always used a set pattern to market its games. They have released trailers at a specific time window based on the release date of the game. Red Dead Redemption 2’s third trailer dropped around May 2018, and the game was released in October 2018.
A similar pattern was seen for GTA 5. It’s third trailer dropped in April 2013, and the game was released in September 2018. Hence, there is about six months difference between the third trailer and the game’s release.
As of now, GTA 6 is set to release on November 19, 2026. If we backtrack the months, there is a strong chance that its third trailer will most likely drop in May 2026, not in April.
Another major reason why GTA 6 trailer 3 will not release in April is that there are no Take-Two Interactive earnings calls that month. The next earnings call will take place sometime in May. Because GTA 6’s hype is at an all-time high for the past few years, Rockstar Games has always placed marketing content drops closer to Take-Two earnings calls to shoot up the stock prices of the company.
Hence, there is a stronger chance for GTA 6 trailer 3 to drop in May rather than in April.
Though Take-Two Interactive’s official website is not showing the next May earnings call, they always conduct one in May, as seen in previous years. The website could update soon.
