Igor Jesus has achieved a rare feat by scoring in nine distinct official competitions since January 2025, confirming his evolution into one of the most versatile forwards in international football.

Brazilian striker Igor Jesus has achieved a feat that very few players have managed: he has scored in nine different official competitions in just thirteen months, since January 2025. His record spans tournaments on two continents and demonstrates an outstanding ability to adapt to different styles of play.

He began last year by opening his account with Botafogo in the Carioca Tournament, where he scored against Fluminense. In April, he repeated his heroics in the Brazilian league with a goal against EC Juventude. His third goal of the season came from the penalty spot in the round of 32 of the Brazilian Cup against Capital Brasília.

The forward also made his mark in the Copa Libertadores with a decisive goal against Universidad de Chile and another against Estudiantes de La Plata, establishing himself as one of the key players in the Rio de Janeiro team.

In June, his impact reached international proportions when he scored twice in the Club World Cup, one of those goals against Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning Champions League winners.

After his transfer to Nottingham Forest in the summer, it didn’t take him long to make his mark in England. He opened his account on 17 September with his first brace in the EFL Cup, and in the same month he repeated the feat against Real Betis in the Europa League. In the Premier League, he had to wait a little longer: it wasn’t until 3 December 2025 that he opened his account, with a goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

The circle was completed in January 2026 when he scored in the FA Cup against Wrexham, despite Forest’s elimination in the round of 32. With these statistics, Igor Jesus has scored goals in every competition he has played in since arriving in Europe.
