The Italian club announced on Monday that Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala has agreed to a renewed contract, securing his place with the Serie A team through June 2027.
Having arrived at Roma in 2022 following seven years with Juventus, the 32-year-old has emerged as a crucial asset for the squad. Across all tournaments, he has tallied 45 goals in 139 matches and was instrumental in guiding Roma to the Europa League final during his inaugural campaign.
Last season, though, the Argentine international battled physical setbacks. A knee operation in March sidelined him for almost four months, leading to uncertainty regarding his continuation with the organization.
A third-place finish in the previous Serie A campaign guaranteed Roma’s reentry into the Champions League, marking their first appearance in the tournament since the 2018-19 term. The club will kick off their upcoming season by hosting Fiorentina on August 24.
